I believe there aren’t enough places to talk openly and authentically about the hardest parts of life. American culture tends to emphasize positivity and to tell us to pull ourselves up by the bootstraps. But, many times it’s not that easy or even possible. In fact, not being able to talk about loneliness, anger, sadness, and other painful feelings leaves us feeling worse and contributes to depression, anxiety, shame, and lack of intimacy in relationships.

Together we will explore and address what is holding you back from the life you want. My stance is nonjudgmental, collaborative, sex positive, and compassionate. I draw from a variety of theories/approaches including psychodynamic, interpersonal neurobiology, cognitive behavioral, and mindfulness to assist you with new perspectives and potential solutions.
