stepping into therapy is entering a place of rest, healing and reflection.

We can get so in the weeds in focusing on the day-to-day, it can be hard to step back and see what’s really going on. I know how easy it is to become disconnected from yourself, what you want, and how to get there. I’ve been there. I get it. While changing how you think won’t magically fix your life, sometimes a fresh perspective can make a big difference.
i’m not going to tell you, “just be positive and life will be better!”
Therapy is a place where you can hit the pause button so you can get a new perspective on your life. From there we might uncover unique strengths you didn’t realize you had, get clear on what you truly want in life, and identify patterns that keep showing up causing you to get in your own way. With that, we can create a new path for your life; a new way of relating to the world, giving you relief from what pains you and setting you on the path towards a different you.
Talking doesn’t change your circumstances,
but it can change your relationship to them

Hi! I’m Jill!
Most of us learned at some point to “be” someone for others and to mask who we are to make others happy, or proud, or keep the peace. “Being” something for others can work for a while… but as you age it’s like trying to wear the same outfit that you wore in your 20’s: you can kinda make it work, but it sure isn’t comfortable, and it doesn’t make you feel good.
In therapy, I help people to feel more satisfied in their relationships and in their life by becoming more connected to their true self. Therapy is a testing ground for you to find out how to be the real you, and try out new ways of relating, feeling and being.
